Here is how you can give to The Way

Tithing is the activator for the Blessing to operate in your life and Offerings is the accelerator

At The Way we have a vision to reach the South of JHB with the love of God.To see the vision established, requires faithful, generous people with a heart for Gods Kingdom and the church. When we all do our part, bringing our tithes and offering, something magnificent takes place to the glory of God. Your giving supports our programs, events, our missions endeavors, community outreach, our weekend services, our staff and the ongoing costs of hiring and maintaining our facilities.

The word “tithe” means a tenth and is defined as the first 10% of a person’s income that is to be given to the local church. Tithing is a principle that is taught throughout the entire Bible. Giving the tithe is a tangible way we can express worship to God and put Him first in our lives. Bringing our tithes into our local church is an opportunity for us to enter into God’s economy and remove ourselves from the world’s economy. Tithing is the activator for the Blessing to operate in your life and Offerings is the accelerator. It also makes a way for us to help in the work of spreading the gospel. If you would like to read more about what the Bible has to say about tithing, check out these passages: Leviticus 27:30, Numbers 18:21, Proverbs 3:9-10, Malachi 3:6-10, Matthew 6:19-24, Matthew 23:23, I Corinthians 16:1-2, and Hebrews 7:8.

Our mission is simple: lead people to Jesus! Partner with us as we set out to reach the South of JHB and bring them to Jesus. When you financially partner towards our Outreach Mission you help make these services possible. You’re giving towards more than just venue hire, transportation but you’re investing in someone’s life.

For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God.2 Cor 9:10-11
