Get to know us

The Church isn’t the building, it’s the people. We believe a New Testament church is a local body of baptized believers who have agreed together to worship Jesus Christ, edify the believers, evangelize the lost and minister to others.

Sunday Services

First and foremost, The Way is a warm, welcoming place. We’ll greet you with a smile, and make you feel at home!

As we begin the service, we start to prepare ourselves for praise and worship. Following the worship, we go into a time of giving our tithes and offering. Next, comes the word, which is vital for every believer to receive. After our service we all head on out to our Coffee Bar where we get to catch up with The Way family.

Time & Location

Our Sunday morning services start at 9am.

What’s important to us

Communion is a memorial what Jesus did for us on the cross and a celebration of what He died to give us, forgiveness of our sins and eternal life. Communion consists of two elements: the bread helps reminds of his body and the cup reminds of his blood. We take communion together as a church once every month.
The Bible encourages us to follow his example by being immersed in water as soon after we make a decision to follow him. It is a public way for us to show that we are changed. Take a look at our events link to register for our next water baptism.
It’s the most selfless thing we do. It’s all about God, and nothing about us. We start our services with it, and we feel that it’s more than just something to do; it’s the most important way to live. The Bible is certainly an invaluable resource to every Christian. What we believe and why we believe it is important. The Bible gives us the pillars on which we build our church. The Bible is our compass for living. The Old and New Testament is given by God for us to study so we can apply its lessons. Scripture is the ultimate authority for life.
God is the One True God and Jesus Christ is His Son – John 17:3 There is one all powerful God that is the creator of Heaven and Earth. He loved us so much that he sent his Son so we can have a relationship with Him. Jesus Christ is fully God who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, taught truth, died on a cross, and resurrected from the dead. His same healing power is available for us today.
The Holy Spirit is coequal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer spiritual gifts when they are saved. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily. We believe in the post-salvation experience of Spirit Baptism which is evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit enables us. We believe the church should operate in the fullness of the Spirit as the first-century church did in the book of Acts.
Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
