Jesus wasn’t hard on Thomas for His doubts. Despite his scepticism. Thomas was still loyal to the believers and Jesus himself. Some people need to doubt before they believe. If doubt leads to questions and questions lead to answers , then doubt has done good work. It’s when doubt becomes unbelief and unbelief becomes a lifestyle that doubt harms faith. When you doubt don’t stop there. Take your doubt to Jesus, be real with Him, let Him know that you’re struggling to believe. When Thomas struggled with doubt, Jesus helped him believe. He will do the same for you.

Scripture: “Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” John 20:27

The disciples heard Jesus teachings, seen his miracles yet when the time of testing came on the stormy Sea of Galilee, their limited believe of who Jesus was revealed. They knew Him as a healer and a preacher. But not as the One who can calm the storm, the One who is Sovereignly in control over all.

When caught in the storms of life, its easy to think that God has lost control and that we’re at the mercy of the winds of fate. In reality God is sovereign. He controls the future of the world as well as our personal destinies.

When life feels out of control, it can be comforting to remember that we’re never out of the sight of our Creator—and he never loses control.

Scripture: He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords. 1 Tim 6:15

While we are practicing social distancing – God is not.  He is not on Lockdown or gone into hiding. He is right with you even if you do feel like it.

You can experience his presence right there in your home. If you’re feeling like He is distant, get alone with Him and allow Him to minister to your heart. Jesus promised us that He will not leave us comfortless. The Holy Spirit who is with you and within you wants you to experience His presence and the peace and comfort that comes with spending time with Him.

Scripture: “And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20

Job was one man that endured great trials and loss. But God did not leave Him there, He restored to Job all he lost. After all that Job went through he came out better than before.

These may feel like uncertain times, we’re not sure if everything going to be ok after this. Job too must have felt the same way, his days were filled with uncertainty and worry – wondering if everything was going to turn out alright. But we take encouragement from our God who is faithful and good toward His children and still works all things for our good.

Job lived a good life and saw Gods hands of restoration and goodness right until the fourth generation.

After this… our latter days will be greater than our former days. Believe toady that God has His eye on you and watches over you for your good.

Scripture: After this, Job lived 140 years and saw his children and their children to the fourth generation.

Declaration: Father God thank you for watching over me and my family for good. You are a good God.

This is a great time to make Family Worship a priority. It doesn’t have to be formal or perfect. Keep your family worship simple! Share Gods word and pray.

You may gather after dinner or circle up on the floor in someones room or have a casual discussion on the couch. Don’t strive for ideal – just start somewhere.

Scripture : As for me and my family, we’ll worship GOD. Joshua 24:15 MSG

Declaration: My family is strong and we will worship God through it all.

What we give your eyes and ears to first in the day is so vital. In this digital age we’ve placed priority on checking our phones when we wake up. Catching up on the latest on social media happenings, browsing through our messages and emails. But with so much negativity looming around every tap and scroll recently, social media or the news can get you a bit SHAKY. But the word of God makes you STEADFAST!

Keep your thoughts and emotions in-check by placing priority on reading the word and when you do pick up your phone or switch on the TV you will be able to stand STEADY against what you see by what you’ve read!

In these 21 days lets form healthy spiritual habits. So instead of reaching for our phone when we wake, reach for our bible first. This will help us stand strong all through-out the day.

Scripture: Steady my steps with your Word of promise so nothing malign gets the better of me. Psalm 119:135 MSG

Declaration:

I declare that I am steadfast in the word of God. No negativity will get the better of me.
